This hat is a layer of soft white fibre from KaBoom!, covered in a layer of bay black from Markdale, topped off with a spidery thin web of more from KaBoom! . The black shows through but doesn't take away for the beautiful white base and top.
We love giving the alpacas names that are special and unique to them. KaBoom! was born outside during a thunder and lightning storm, we had to go out to the far corner of the field and carry him into the barn. KaBoom! is the only white male we ever used for breeding.
Markdale was being born just as we were pulling out with the livestock trailer loaded to attend the Markdale Fall Fair. Carolyn stayed behind to make sure everything was okay and Doug went to the fair to set up our display.
This hat is only available in our gift shop.
This hat is 100% alpaca from our own herd and is hypo-allergenic.
